They will be offering guided tours of the Castle in English and German, in addition to regular French and Dutch tours.
Unlike their regular scheduled tours, English- and German-language visits can be organised upon request. If visitors are interested, they will do their best to arrange a guided tour at a mutually convenient time during the summer season, subject to availability.
A welcome to introduce them to the history and heritage of one of Belgium’s most remarkable princely residences through a guided tour in English.
The visit of the castle lasts approximately one hour and a half. It starts with a movie retracing the 1000 years of history of the castle presented by Stéphane Bern. Then, you will have the opportunity to discover the seven most beautiful rooms of the castle since it is a private castle still occupied by the current princely family.
The prince Joseph (15 years old) and the princess Henriette (17 years old), the grand children of the current prince and princess, who are living in London, will be happy to welcome you with an ice cream and the beer of Chimay at the castle between July 15th and July 30th.
