BBCA Midsummer Garden Party 2022

Please join the Brussels British Community Association for our annual Midsummer celebration at the Royal Brussels Cricket Club near Lasne-Ohain (see map here) on Saturday 25 June from 13.00-18.00.

This outdoor get-together around a live cricket match will be accompanied by seasonal refreshments, a raffle and traditional children’s games. In honour of the Platinum Jubilee this year, we’re also adding a royal theme to the family-friendly event.

Entrance is free and all proceeds go to BBCA constituent charities: the Community Help Service, the British Charitable Fund, the Brussels Branch of the Royal British Legion and The Wednesday Club.

Refreshments include a BBQ from 14.00 and tea and cake from 15.00, while not-to-be missed Tim’s Pimms, G&Ts and non-alcoholic cocktails are served all afternoon. Tickets for food and cocktails can be purchased at the entrance (cash only) and drinks are also available from the club’s cash bar.

Why not join in the Jubilee theme and dress up for the summer party? You could wear red, white or blue, brandish a union jack or rock a royal costume!

Although some tables and chairs will be available, we suggest you bring along camping chairs and tables or picnic rugs for your own comfort.

In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, we may cancel the event. All confirmed attendees will be notified by email. But with plenty of tents installed at the site, we hope to resist any occasional rain shower.
