Brussels British Community Association

The Brussels British Community Association (BBCA) is a focal point for the British community in the Brussels area, open to organisational and individual membership.  The role of the BBCA is:

  • to be an umbrella organisation providing visibility and networking opportunities for member groups

  • to represent the British community on major issues of concern to the whole community

  • to be a link to sources of information for British expatriates - and to complement other sources available

The BBCA covers Brussels plus the provinces of Brabant , Hainaut, Liege, Namur and Luxembourg. The Antwerp British Community Association covers the northern part of the Belgium  http://www.abca-antwerp.be/

The Expat Welcome Desk at the Brussels Commissioner office has developed dedicated webpages for UK citizens resident in Belgium.

The pages cover issues for those resident before 31 December 2020 (Pre-Brexit M-card holders) and those who arrive in Belgium now.

You can access the site here.

See also our information article on residency under Brexit, the M-card and the application process.
