The Staging Post will be holding a “Close-to-Christmas Show” at GC De Kam, Wezembeek-Oppem on Friday 29 November at 20h00. This cafe-theatre style show will consist of one main act of two sets and two supporting groups with one set each. Doors will open at 19h30. The GC De Kam bar will be open before that should you arrive early, and sandwiches are usually available. Reservations by email to KamReservations@gmail.com are strongly advised, before 28 November.

The main act is FOREIGN AFFAIRS and is no stranger to The Staging Post and have always given excellent performances. Lise Floris has returned from the Far East and has rejoined Sharon as the lead singers. They will be joined by guest saxophonist, Dave Skinner, a founder-member of the Staging Post’s predecessor organisation, The Kam Klub. You can look forward to a swinging evening with lots of dance able music. A fitting tribute for the coming festive season!
Again, no stranger to the Staging Post is HOT AIR, this vocal ensemble which always gives extremely, listenable-to entertainment, will this time be singing extracts from “Les Miserables” and “The Phantom of the Opera”. They are led by the well-known conductor, Steven De Mesmaeker, and the group consists of many familiar faces from The Brussels Light Opera Company, BLOC, out of which The Kam Klub was born.
THE LADYBIRDS is a recently formed duo by two redoubtable ladies of our Brussels musical world, Josephine Draycott and Lisa Armetta. Josephine is famous for recently taking the leading role in “La Grande Duchesse De Gerolstein”, whilst Lisa has starred in many singing groups, most notably “Three Darn Hot” and “Marlis”. They will be singing songs by the “Beatles” in the style of “Mona and Lisa”.
