Everything UK is inviting you (+1) to an exclusive and extremely pleasurable evening of UK theatre and music with the support of the British Embassy in Belgium on the evening of Tuesday 19 March 2024. The event kicks off from 20h00 at the ARCA theatre in Ghent with the Belgian premiere of the acclaimed theatre show ‘It's a Motherf**king Pleasure’ followed by an intimate concert from Edmund November.

It's a Motherf**king Pleasure isn't just a play. It's a sensation - created by the London-based multi-award-winning disability-led theatre company FlawBored. The Guardian called it "a darkly comic satire on disability", The Times added that it's "stunningly inventive", The Scotsman loved that it's "uncompromising", and Disability Arts probably said it best: "A joyous harpooning of the utter weirdness of extreme wokeness and its full circularity back around to patronising pity-porn!"

After the performance, the focus moves to Arca's lounge for a drink and an intimate concert by Edmund November, the new project by Nordmann guitarist Edmund Lauret - born and raised in Newcastle, but now living in Ghent. What to expect? Moody folk-pop, strongly rooted in the 60s and 70s, with flashes of haunting ambient, icy 80s synths and a sprinkle of psychedelia.

Everything UK celebrates UK culture in Belgium. So far it has curated two festivals in Ghent (in 2022 and 2023) and is now laying the groundwork for a third festival in 2025.
